Gore-Tex wind pants with side zips are best to get over your boots

Plastic double boots. New fashion leather mountaineering boot/Supergaiters
combination is suggested only if you are comfortable with these
in extreme cold conditions.

Crampons (hinged); please have these fitted perfectly to your boots
Seat harness with adjustable leg loops
2 locking carbines
Ski poles or telescoping poles
