THE RUSSIAN NORTH.

The unique 6 day itinerary that features the main historical sites of the North-Western areas of Russia.

Land cost: $1035 per person in a group of 6.

The price includes: a local English speaking guide, all accommodation, breakfasts, hydrofoil tickets, all admissions according to the itinerary.

ITINERARY

Day 1. Depart St. Petersburg by train to Petrozavodsk.

Day 2. Arrive Petrozavodsk. Sightseeing in the city. Transfer to the boat pier to take the boat to the Kizhi island which features the unique collection of the wooden buildings, gathered from the different villages all over the northern areas of Russia. It is an open air museum. The tour of the island with the complimentary lunch there. Overnight in the hotel in Petrozavodsk.

Day 3. Take the morning train to Kem, transfer to the boat to Solovetskie islands. Overnight in the hotel at the island.

Day 4. Tour of the Solovetsky monastery - the old religious center of Russia. In the evening transfer to the railway station, night rain to Murmansk.

Day 5. Early morning arrive to Murmansk. Sightseeing in the city. Transfer to the Lovozero village cultural center of saami peoples. Tour of the ethnographical museum. Late lunch with the folk show. Transfer back to Murmansk. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6. Depatrure by train to St. Petersburg.
