ITINERARY

Day 1. Morning departure of St.Petersburg to Lembolovo by train - 2 hours. Hike to to the north to the Blue Lakes - 15 km. Overnight in tents in the pine tree forest at the lakes. The lakes are typical small forest lakes with sandy bed.
Day 2. Day hike to a chum, a remote hunting shelter made of tree branches. Overnight at the wild forest river bank. Distance to cover - 12 km.
Day 3. Continue hike to Vuoksa lake. Reaching the highest point of Karelian Isthmus - 234 m. Overnight at a forest brook. Distance to cover - 10 km.
Day 4. Continue hike to the village Petiyarvi. Visiting remains of ancient Finnish mill and hydro gap. Distance to cover - 14 km. Return train back to St.Petersburg.
